Triangle Health Innovation Challenge Idea Bank
Have you seen something broken in healthcare that could use a fresh new look? Have you ever thought "I wish my patients could do ____ at home to stay healthy", or "I wish I could do ____ to take better care of my patients"? Share your ideas with teams of students, engineers, developers, and designers who are looking to help improve healthcare.
Because our teams will be tackling these "pain points" and developing a prototype of a solution over a 3-day event, the problems we want teams to focus on are those with technology (an app, website, service, or simple physical device), design (a new tool, or workflow), or service based solutions. We're not looking to develop new drugs, implantable devices, or the like
What's the "pain point" in health or healthcare that you want to address?
(In this question, focus on what's broken, not how you would fix it. This can be something affecting patients, providers, families, or anyone else)
How would you propose tackling this "pain point"?
Remember, our goal is for interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to challenges in health, so even if a team picks your problem, they may deviate from your proposed solution
If a team wanted to work on your suggested problem, would you be able to consult via phone or email sometime on September 19th? If so, please include your name and contact information (preferably phone; email is acceptable as well) below.
Not required, but very helpful for our teams
