ABSN NRR Position Posting

The Duke University School of Nursing invites applications for part-time non-regular rank (NRR) faculty positions in the ABSN Program. NRR faculty members are responsible for participating in a dynamic faculty role that includes on-campus didactic instruction, on-campus lab and simulation instruction, and assisting with clinical site management and visits. Teaching opportunities include wellness & health promotion, pediatrics, health assessment & foundations, adult health, and pathophysiology.

Qualified candidates ideally should possess an earned doctoral degree, but candidates with MSN and undergraduate didactic teaching experience will be considered.  Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and have a minimum of two years of experience as a clinical nurse. A minimum of two years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level is desired. Candidate must meet the North Carolina Board of Nursing administrative requirement for faculty regarding preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation as cited in the Administrative Code of the Board Nursing within one year of hire.
